Although I got some fishing in over the last few weeks, I am aware that many regions in the US were suffering from excess humidity in the form of rain or snow runoff (parts of the Rocky Mountains were blessed with a 200% plus of average snow pack which made many rivers very difficult to fish if not unfishable). What better time to some additional fly tying and swapping flies.
This time around I acted as "Swap Meister", receiving everybody's flies and redistributing them. At times, my office looked more like a combination of post office and fly shop. And again, it was amazing to see the individual creations.
And this is a picture of the fly box of the flies I received from formal and informal swaps. Pretty cool if I may say so!
